This Mobile Safari can be offered in 3 different budget levels, followed by the safari details.
Level 1: En-suite dome budget level:
Cosy dome tents provide the true feel of camping in the bush, with traditional stretcher beds beautifully made up with linen and towels, and organically shaped canvas surrounds.You will have a bedside table and solar lamp to catch up on your bedtime reading, and en-suite toilet and bucket shower that you can enjoy under the stars. Floor rugs keep your feet warm on cooler nights.

3×3 meter DomeTent – Sharing– ensuite bathroom. Stretcher beds, mattresses and all amenities. Bedside mat, table and light. All bedding linen and towels.
Road transfers are usually possible throughout a mobile safari. However some clients prefer to fly between camps, so this will be quoted for at the time of booking. If there is a mobile/lodge combination, it will depend on location of lodge to determine whether a road transfer is possible. Ask you agent for details at time of booking.

Level 2: En suite Meru Comfort level :
Even if you are the first one in your party to appreciate the new day, the camp cook has a steaming cup waiting for you in the dining tent.
For active travelers who enjoy plenty of space and light, the comfort safari provides a Meru-style walled tent with an open air en-suite bathroom stocked with aromatic soaps and lotions.
Welcome treats, and all meals and drinks – including spirits – are on offer in the camp’s common areas, where you can charge your phone and camera, and write in your journal while enjoying the open air.

9 Night Mobile tented Safari details:
Daily activities:
Safari activities will follow a daily routine throughout the trip. Times and activities will change according to clients wishes and wildlife sightings.
No two days on safari are the same. But they always consist of morning and evening game drives and exploring the area.
Activities are timed according to sightings and time that clients need to spend at each sighting. So it is always flexible to suit client’s needs.
Usual wake up call will be at 6:00am. There will be hot water for showering provided and breakfast served, followed by your early morning game drive.
After the game drive, you will go back to the camp to have lunch and then a siesta.
After siesta have high tea, then head off for an afternoon game drive to explore the prime game viewing areas.
Return to your camp at sunset and have a shower, followed by dinner.
After dinner one can sit around the camp fire enjoying the atmosphere and discussing the day’s adventures.
DAY 1,2,3: Moremi/Khwai Mobile camping
Arrival at Maun Airport (MUB). Clients will be met by their safari guide at Maun Airport.
You will start your road transfer to your mobile camp enjoying a packed picnic lunch on the way,where you will spend 3 nights exploring the Khwai area either in the Khwai area of Moremi Game Reserve or in the Khwai Development Trust Concession area.
Where your camp will be situated is based on camp site availability at the time of booking,which will be communicated to you.
Either way you cant go wrong.The Moremi is regarded as the prime game viewing area of the Okavango delta,
Khwai has a large population of impala, kudu and tsessebe in the area, while in the dry season large herds of buffalo, wildebeest, elephant, and zebra flock into the reserve from the Kalahari in search of food and water.
Game viewing is prolific and varied and the incredible species of birds found in this area, make for busy game viewing and daily adventures.
You arrive in camp in time for showers, drinks and snacks. Your bush dinner can be enjoyed under the stars before you retire to your tents for the night.
Your 3 nights in the Moremi/Khwai area will be spent exploring the area and experiencing the Botswana wildlife.
DAY 4,5,6: Savuti – Mobile camping.
After an early morning after breakfast you will transfer by road to your mobile safari camp in Savuti area of Chobe National Park.
The Savuti is a region within the heart of the Chobe National Park, located away from the peak season crowds at the Chobe riverfront. This remote home ground of Camp Savuti is located on the banks of the Savuti Channel and close to the famous Savuti Marsh.
The Savuti Channel is one of the best regions in Africa to see the rare and endangered African wild dog. The abundance of Lions in the Savuti Channel has inspired many filmmakers to observe and follow the adventures of the renowned big cats for over twenty years.
DAY 7,8,9
After breakfast, you will road transfer to your mobile camp in Chobe. You will be provided with a packed lunch and enjoy game viewing on your transfer. This is a full day activity and your camp will have been set up and be ready for your arrival.
Chobe is a unique park because during dry season big herds of animals congregate along the river. You will see elephants swimming from one bank to the other, and buffalos crossing to Sedudu Island. Chobe is also famous for its elephant population and many people come to Chobe for that reason alone
DAY 10:
After breakfast, you will say goodbye to your camp staff and do a short game drive to Kasane where you will be transferred to Kasane airport in order to meet your transfer to continue with your other travel arrangements. You bid your guide farewell.
This itinerary is ideal for a Victoria Falls add-on.
